A Splendid Idea...

April 30, 2014

Spring is well and truly here and it’s time to bring your home out of hibernation. Additions of colour and texture can bring your rooms to life again but why stop there? Why not try painting some exterior furniture to reinvigorate a tired piece and give you a good excuse to spend some time in the sun as well. Exterior painting allows you to be bold and brave with your colour choices and could lead you to inspiration with the rest of your home as well as you realise the brilliant range of colours available to you. If you’re unsure where to start then try painting smaller items such as plant pots to see how you like it before moving onto the benches and chairs. The result will be a beautiful garden, perfect for the long summer days to come where you can entertain friends and family surrounded by colour and warmth.

Top tip… Farrow and Ball’s Charlotte’s Locks, Yellowcake and Brinjal all look brilliant on your plant pots when the summer flowers such as Lavender and Dahlias start to bloom.
